how to find bank account number

Does anybody know where to find the full account number on CIT?

I just opened an account at CIT and have not received any statements or checks for the account and can not find my full account anywhere. I need it for my tax return.

This is a common issue at my bank. We can't give it out to you over the phone. Depending on how recent try pulling up an online statement, that's the work around we usually recommend.

If it's brand new they had to give you paperwork, starter checks, or even if online you should have gotten something with the full number on it.

I can't get through. It says they are experiencing high volume and cuts off.

Good question. Just checked both the website and mobile app for a new account I recently opened, and can't find anywhere that displays the full account number.

Makes me glad that I captured a screenshot of the confirmation page upon applying, since that does show routing & account numbers.

Not sure whether you're still looking for this, but I randomly stumbled across where to find it on the CIT Banking website in a completely non-obvious place.

Customer Service -> Document Upload (even though you're not uploading anything)

In the Document Center, look for a Document Sent to You called "AccountDetails_xxx.pdf" and that contains the account number.
